NAEYC Family Surveys
If you have not already done so, please take a couple of minutes to complete the NAEYC Family Survey that was sent home last week. Your feedback is a very important part in our journey to reaccreditation. There are extra copies available at the front desk if you need another copy. We would like to hear from all of our families to find out how we are doing.
Scholastic Book Fair Update
Thank you to all of our families for assisting us with another very successful book fair. We were able to earn more than $1500 in free books for our school! We appreciate your support! We hope you enjoy reading all of your new books! We know the children and teachers will enjoy the many new books in their classrooms!
Shutdown Week
Just a reminder that Shutdown Week is coming! It is August 30th - September 3rd. Our school will reopen on Tuesday, September 7th, after Labor Day. This is a paid week unless you designate it as your annual vacation credit. The deadline to submit for a vacation credit for this week is Friday, August 13th.
Withdrawals
We know that some of our children will be leaving us this Fall to attend Kindergarten and/or other school. Please be sure that you have submitted your withdrawal notice. Also, please keep in mind that we do require a two week written notice.
Transition Week
The transition week for children who will be moving to new classes for the Fall will be the week of August 23rd. During this week, the children will spend time in their new classroom to become acquainted with their new teachers, classrooms, and friends. A notice with more details of the transition will be coming home shortly to all families whose children will participate in the transition.
Updated Paperwork Reminder
If your child will be here during the upcoming school year, please keep an eye out for some important paperwork that will come home soon. These are forms that we need to have updated on an annual basis. Please be sure to submit the forms in a timely manner. Additionally, please ensure your child has all current health and immunization information on file. Thank you!
