A Note From Our Principal
We will be celebrating this year’s Read Across America throughout the month of March! As a school, we will be featuring a different Dr. Seuss Book each week with activities in the hallway, some to take home and complete together as a family and others that we will be doing in the classrooms to celebrate reading. There will also be availability for parents, friends or family members to sign up to read a book to your classroom throughout the month. Be sure to stop by our “library” at the front desk where students can sign out a book to read at home.
To encourage reading in and out of school, we will have a school-wide goal of reading 6,200 total books throughout the month of March. Each student will put a sticker on their classroom’s chart for every book they read at home. At the end of each week, we will track how many books have been read as a school on a scale at the front entrance. Help us reach our goal of 6,200!
We offer flexible schedules for parents, and engaging activities for school-age children Spring Break Camp the week of March 26-30.
