A Note From Our Principal,
We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms spent the week leading up to Earth Day learning about insects, plants and making tie dye t-shirts. For Earth Day students released 2,000 ladybugs into our school playground and garden. Our Pre-Kindergarten class celebrated National Library Week back on April 12th by going to the Wirtz Labor Library and had a book reading by Molly Conway who is the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Secretary of Labor, Alexander Acosta. This month we are busy preparing for our school age summer camp program to welcome new and returning students ages 5-12 who will be joining us for the summer months when we open up Multi-Purpose Room for the program. We are finalizing special school-wide activities for the summer as well. Keep a look out for the Summer Event Calendar to be released for your program level once dates and times are finalized.
